A TESTIMONY OF OUR RECOGNITION
 
In recognition of our power plants’ quality and environmental efficiency, the IPT-constructed power plant in Surin Thailand was crowned the winner of the 7th Renewable Energy Project Competition at the ASEAN Energy Awards in 2008.
 

 
AWARD BACKGROUND
 
* The projects are expected to support the objectives of the “ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation” which is to enhance ASEAN’s energy security as well as promote the use of indigenous resources through the implementation of clean and efficient cogeneration technologies. In general, such projects should be energy efficient, environmentally friendly, are utilizing the energy generated for significant commercial and/or industrial applications and provide technical benefits to the industries using them.
 
AWARD CRITERIA
 

All eligible and selected projects are subjected to the following criteria for the award :

1. Originality (10%)
2. Environmental and Social Consideration (15%)
3. Technical, Economic and Market Consideration (35%)
4. Operating & Maintenence Scheme (20%)
5. Replicability (15%)
6. Presentation (5%)
