Fuel Supply:
Palm Oil Waste in the form of empty fruit bunch (EFB) is brought to the storage area where the EFB is fed into a specially designed shredder to shred it into fiber form before being fed into the service silo.
Plant Objective:
To generate 6.0 MW nett Electricity output using Palm Oil Waste (Empty Fruit Bunches) and simultaneously to supply steam at 14 barg for a flow volume of 16 metric tonnes per hour to refinery.
 


 
 
 
 

Equipment

EFB fired boiler, steam turbine generator, cooling water system, EFB shredding, handling and feeding system, ash handling system, water treatment facilities, DCS control system, fire protection and detection system, compressed air system , steam and water circuit equipment etc.,

Steam Turbine Generator:
1 unit of 7.5MW extraction condensing steam turbine generator system
Plant's Operating Conditions:   37 bara, 435 °C 
Gross Electrical Output:    7.5 MW
Required Steam Extraction (to process):
